The Architectural Committee has the responsibility of seeing that there are no external alterations or interior structural modifications to any of our houses that do not conform to the basic design and structural requirements of the Beeches as outlined in our by-laws. Rev September 2024   

The board requires that any such additions/replacements/modifications be approved by the Architectural Committee and that application to the Architectural Committee for such work be submitted to Thornhill Properties using the form provided on the community website and in Appendix B of the community handbook.

Specifically, the board requires that door, railing and window colors and design be uniform throughout the community to preserve the architectural integrity and protect property values. Approved door colors are Sherwin Williams Luxurious Red [SW6314], Basil [SW6194], Quixotic Plum [SW6265], or Tempe Star [SW6229]. The deck color is Timber Bark (JH40-30). The siding caulking color is Timber Bark (253). These are in the James Hardie hues palette. 

Regarding lower rear deck privacy screens, only vertical wood screens as pictured below are allowed. Lattice panels are not permitted.  All privacy screens must be approved prior to installation.

Nothing can be mounted or affixed to the exterior that penetrates the Hardie Plank siding or trim.
